Interview
After having the initial application accepted there follows a four-stage process conducted largely through Uptime Crew. There's a 90-minute coding challenge, followed by a 30 minute 1:1 interview with an Uptime recruiter. If you make it past those two steps, there is a larger take home project, followed by another 30-minute interview to review your build. There is a four day window for the initial coding challenge and be prepared to receive challenges in languages not listed on the job's requirements, like perhaps Bash if you're unfamiliar with it. Other questions are likely to be in Java or SQL. The next assignment is more open-ended and you'll have more time to complete a single, more complex problem.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intuit (Mountain View, CA) in Dec 2025
