Worst interview process. Let's start off by saying that the first interview with the recruiter was super informal, as in I couldn't even hear her since the connection was so bad (she called in from her car) and didn't seem interested in having a proper phone conversation. Then went to a phone interview with the hiring manager, which went ok. Then went to an onsite interview which they casted over a course of 7 hours of meeting 10 different people, and to say the least a couple of them were super uncomfortable to talk to. The individuals who were distinguished to be very awkward made the interview process more like an interrogation, than free flowing conversation, they did not know how to be personable, and were pretty rude and stuck up. For a company that prides itself for hiring "character" I definitely did not believe that was true for these individuals. Last but not least, not only did I go through this entire interview process, but the recruiter didn't have the decency to get back to me or give me any feedback when promised. Very unprofessional overall.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Intuitive (Sunnyvale, CA) in Mar 2016
Interview
Overall very professional interview process. Was initially contacted by the recruiter who pressed me hard on why I was a good fit for the position. Was able to give me a better understanding of the company and what they looked for. After that I was scheduled to speak with the hiring manager. The hiring manger was also very professional and asked me questions about my previous projects and work experiences. Some which were in my resume and some which were not. I could see that he was trying to dig into find out my thought process of decision making. Felt confident after the phone interview and was called on-site within a couple of days. On-site interview was held within a week or so and I interviewed with 7 people from different groups. All interviews were technical for a manufacturing position. Asked about Validations, statistics, Solidworks experience, process improvement projects etc.
All the people I interviewed with were very helpful and left time in the end for me to ask questions. They didn't seemed rushed and looked like they were all gathering valuable information about my background.
