I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Investec in May 2019
Interview
The interview process consisted of a number of rounds including interviews with ADs. They are very focussed on finding the right person for the job so they try to make it "personal". Questions were varied. There were some technical questions and some personality questions. If you got to the last round, they know you are capable of doing job what matters is that you have the right attiude that is perfectly aligned with Investec's values. They pride themselves of being out of the ordinary so they want to hear from you what you think makes them different to a bank such as Jefferies.

Question 1
Tell me about you faced a conflict and how did you deal with it
Had one round of interview which was purely technical having valuation related questions. The next round was supposed to be a mock pitchbook. But the interviewer mentioned about intense pressure and no holiday on weekends at all, I declined further process in the interview itself
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Investec (London, England) in Sep 2018
Interview
Very unprofessional, the interviewer was more concerned with her phone than anything. Apart from this just be very prepared with information about the company, share price, acquisitions and other various deals.
