Online application followed by a brief, unscheduled telephone interview covering my motivations for applying to a financial services role, as well as covering general market questions (current rate of inflation, GDP etc). Invited for a face to face interview at Dartmouth Partners, which comprised of a 10 minute non calculator maths test and then an hour long chat about my motivations for applying to investec, my understanding of the role as well as testing my more general understanding of current market conditions and financial headlines. I was then invited to an assessment day with Investec which involved two group discussion exercises, two face to face interviews and a prepared presentation.
