The recruiter contacted me and set up the interview. She let me know right away what to expect from both the interview and the selection/hiring process, which I greatly appreciated. Interview was with four members of the team, three associates and one manager. Interview had to do with prior employment experience, problem solving techniques, and questions about aerospace. Interview was incredibly satisfying. I truly enjoyed the interview and the manager showed me the command center afterwards, which seemed like a pretty good signal to me. The recruiter called me the next day early in the morning to tell me that they wanted to hire me. Between leaving the interview and receiving the verbal offer was less than 24 hours. The recruiter explained the next part of the process to me and the timeline for it, answering every single question that I had (there were a lot). We all know how stressful the "lag time" between interviewing and starting can be, and she really did a lot to help me through the process. Exactly according to her timeline, an official offer was made which required a background check. Background check took less than 24 hours and I can't wait to start! The recruiting / hiring team at Iridium is incredibly professional, efficient, and helpful. Easily the best hiring experience of my career!
