I applied online. I interviewed at Irish Distillers
Interview
The interview process was enjoyable especially the case study and the passion presentation part! Joanne was lovely and explained everything very well. I did mine online as I had university exams on the days they would have been in person but I feel like doing it online was a bit more challenging to get my personality accross. Internet issues and people speaking over eachother on the call was an issue.
The 1:1 interview was quite hard asking questions such as “what seperates jameson in the whiskey making process?” And “how to get people to drink responsibly at events?” These questions seem like something we would learn if we got through to the next round. I think a few people I have spoken also struggled with this as they were under the impression it would be more speaking about themselves and their work experience in the interview. I think I should have looked up a bit on the “easy does it” advertising prior to the interview.
