The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Itron (New York, NY) in Oct 2017
Interview
One interview with HR and another with hiring manager. Very positive interview with HR, but hiring manager was unprepared and sound unqualified and intimidated while he was reading my resume during interview . Hiring manager seemed impressed with my experience as we go over the interview, but he didn’t even knew my background and sound intimidated with my experience since I had more education and experience than him, to the point that he asked whether I would have a problem to report directly to him. Extremely concerned with asking salary. They were definitely looking for the cheapest solution. I suggest to inform salary at the beginning of the process so qualified applicants don’t waste time, just as Amazon does.
