I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Itron (Bengaluru)
Interview
There were a total of 6 rounds of interview. The first one was a telephonic round where they asked fundamentals questions on C# and ASP.Net. I was then invited to their office where they took 4 more rounds, 2 were taken by team leads and the last 2 rounds by managers. They told me that they work mostly in the utilities sector. The interview process was smooth without much delays, as it was conducted on a working day. They asked a lot of questions on my previous projects as I also had worked in the Utilities domain in the past. They also asked my question on design patterns and whether I am open to work on Desktop applications as well and web applications. At the end of the day they told me that I had cleared all the rounds and that an HR representative will call me for the final HR round. The final call from HR came after one week, and finalised the offer.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Itron
Interview
I cleared all interview rounds and was explicitly told by HR that an offer letter would be released. After that, I was kept waiting for nearly 1–1.5 months with vague assurances and no concrete updates. Eventually, HR stopped responding altogether, with no formal closure.
Points to note before giving an interivew
Extremely unprofessional HR handling
False assurance about offer release
Long delays and complete ghosting
No respect for candidate time
It is formal, with a few technical questions and a few background questions. The interviewers are looking for you to draw on your professional experience at current and former roles, rather than knowledge obtained through school/certificate courses
