Itron interview questions

I had 9 total interactions/ interviews with Itron. Two were on the phone with HR. Then a phone screen with the hiring manager. This was followed by an onsite interview with the team, which consisted of a total of 4 face to face interviews. I thought I was good, but then I had to speak with two more people on the phone- one of which didn't know which particular job I was applying for. I had to explain that his questions were not really applicable to the position I was interested in. After this, I received zero notice and was ghosted. I eventually found someone who told me that the hiring manager hired someone he used to work with at a previous company.

The interview was fine. There were two technical rounds and one HR round. They called us to their office. We were provided breakfast by the company itself. And then the interview process started.
