Ivanti Staff Software Engineer interview questions

I had two rounds. 1. Hiring manager - they tried to cover the basics about current company project architecture and asked me to write some sql queries and small problem in c#. 2. technical interview - basic .net core and .net framework questions. Covering webapis. During the one hour interview process panelist tried to cover all basic .net and .net core related, webapi based questions. then he started asking small programs on lists and array. What funny was the reason for which i got rejected. During the last 10 minutes of the interview process the panelist asked me whether I know Sudoku game to which I said I didnt play the game. He shared me some Wikipedia link for the rules and asked me to write a program for sudoku game. i did agree and started going through the rules and started implementing the code. then we were above the time limit and he asked me to stop. its funny he asked me to write code for sudoku game that too in the last 10 minutes.
