Horrible and terrible.
These are the only two words I can use to describe my interview process at JD Irving. I interviewed for the Security Specialist position. In the beginning the process went smooth, I had a phone interview and then an online personality assessment then a panel interview. All was pretty smooth until this point. I would even say that the hiring manger was one of the best in terms of professionalism and dynamics. But things went downhill afterwards in the process. I was then interviewed by the director who was OK, asked me a few weird questions but still passable. Then started the dead silence. No communication for 2-3 weeks despite my follow-ups. Then all of a sudden I get invited for the final round with the VP. I provide my availability but don't hear for another 2-3 weeks. Dead silence. Finally, I receive a rejection email without even interviewing with the VP, I ask for feedback but obviously no response. Spent 2-3 months with them for nothing but a weird rejection.
I understand hiring processes can be complex but ghosting is something this org is very good at.
Stay miles away from them.
