I was first given an initial phone screening interview with the store manager and then given an in person interview with an out of town Sephora inside JC Penny manager. The in person interview lasted about 45 minutes and the phone interview was about 25 minutes. It is important to have questions prepared for them and to practice your interview responses in advance. I felt as if both interviews went very well, but I was upset with the fact that during the interview they could not give me an answer as to what the hourly pay or salary would be but instead danced around the question. The store manager nor the Sephora manager gave me any information on what the starting pay would be but only mentioned that there would be an opportunity for bonuses and that Sephora does not work off of commission.
