I applied in-person. I interviewed at JD Group (Birmingham, England) in Aug 2017
Interview
I've applied in person with a CV and a cover letter. I've applied in other store and never thought about applying in this store even tho is closer to me. I handed my CV on tuesday (15/08) and had a call on sunday (20/08) to come for an interview the next day (Monday, 21/08). I didn't even expect a call as I didnt know if they were hiring or not. The day of the interview I got there about one or two minutes early and they asked me to sit on the staff room and fill an employment form. Once I was done, I had the interview. It was easy and not bad at all. The manager asked about availability, past experience, what do you know about the company, who founded the company, sell me a pen, sell me this product and tell me when you've deliver a good customer service. For the interview, I wore a shirt, jeans, nike trainers and a jacket. At the end, he asked me "I will give you 30 second to tell me why we should hire you".
I don't know if I had the offer yet
I had an in person interview where I was invited into the store. The atmosphere was friendly and they made me feel relaxed. The interview wasn't too long and quite easy.
was fairly easy just spoke about my skills and how i could contribute in a team i was asked about my availability and they are looking for flexibility being able to work an early shift whilst finishing late is a major
