I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at JD Group (Ilford, England) in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied over the JD Careers website and I received an email inviting me to an interview at a store. After arriving and waiting for 40 minutes, one of the managers came to interview me. This interview lasted about 3 minutes and the guy was very rude. He asked me a few questions while swinging on his chair and seemed so uninterested the whole way through as if I was boring him. He asked if there were any questions I had for him and I asked how long he'd worked at JD for and he replied with 2 words. I called back the next day to ask for constructive criticism so I could do better next time. He picked up, said he had no time and ended the call before I could say anything. The most disrespectful interview I've ever had and I dodged a bullet because working under him would've been a nightmare.
I had an in person interview where I was invited into the store. The atmosphere was friendly and they made me feel relaxed. The interview wasn't too long and quite easy.
was fairly easy just spoke about my skills and how i could contribute in a team i was asked about my availability and they are looking for flexibility being able to work an early shift whilst finishing late is a major
