It is more of a personality hire instead of an actual skill. Huge group interviews around 20 candidates, and they offer this role to more than 100. They don't care about casual workers
I applied online. I interviewed at JD Group in Oct 2024
Interview
Was a really chill vibe. Had a few other people my age/uni age amongst some teens (around 15 of us). Did some activities including selling products, introducing ourselves and making connections with other people. As well as this we had to fill out a sheet in regards to customer service experience and other questions
The interview process was quite chilled with not too many questions, was with a supervisor rather than a manager so didnt seem as formal. Casual clothes due to the nature of the store
