I was initially very interested in JPI due to the growth opportunities and culture at the firm. I became less enthused as the interview process went on due to extreme disorganization and having interviews with personnel with less credentials/qualifications/experience than myself. It took a month from the first interview to get to the offer letter with a lot of miscommunication in between. Even though I was very upfront regarding pay and title, they offered less pay and a role two levels below what I interviewed for. When I asked them to honor the role I interviewed for, they admitted that current employees might feel slighted that I was hired into a higher role, but that if I took a low role they could promote me quickly. Essentially, because they did not properly manage expectations with their current employees, they expected me to take a role below my current experience/credentials and pay, in hopes of eventually being promoted into the role I interviewed for. I do not recommend this company.
