I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Wilmington, DE)
Interview
I was first sent an OA with two questions. OA was medium leetcode difficulty. I think one was string manipulation and the other was array/list
The superday was three hours with 3 45 min interviews. 10-15 min breaks between interviews
Behavioral was pretty standard STAR format. Nothing crazy
The technical one was a python pull request with some mistakes that you had to point out and ask about. Not necessarily fix. Interviewer was very silent so I was worried. I kept talking to not have any silent moment
The leetcode problem was actually closer to easy than medium, but I got wrapped up in a small detail and lost track of time.
The last interview was system design. If you practice Neetcode’s system design interview you’d be good
I completed three rounds of interviews for the position, including technical assessments that evaluated my coding proficiency through practical problem-solving exercises designed to test relevant software development skills and knowledge.
Was given a leetcode problem within the first 4 mins of the interviewer. Wish I was making this up. Interviewers did not really introduce themselves besides names, straight to the code problem. The interview felt extremely cold. No soul, no passion, no discussion
Asked very scripted questions and everyone took a lot of notes. I really enjoyed the people I spoke with and they really made me think about the role and my past
