I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (Bengaluru) in Jan 2026
Interview
I cleared three rounds of interview for this role in the Data Access Management team. The final interview went really well — the Executive Director and VP were really impressed — and I almost thought I got the offer. Next week, I sent over the documents and other information to the HR for background check only to know two weeks later that they can't hire me because of a policy that requires minimum one year of full-time experience after graduation. My only question is that isn't this something that can be clarified in the screening itself? If you know a candidate doesn't meet your requirements, why would you give them hope and put them for three rounds of interviews?
