I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at JPMorganChase (New York, NY) in Sep 2018
Interview
Was sent a hackerrank coding challenge which was pretty easy compared to most other companies. I passed the challenge with flying colors and was selected to move on to the next round.
They wanted me to participate in a 24 hour hackathon where I would have had to travel and spend a full 24 waking hours coding for their cause. As a student with obligations this was not feasible, especially for an interview so I declined.
I was supposed to move forward in the process and was promised a phone screen. A couple weeks go by and nothing. I emailed the recruiter and was told that she "forgot" to email me back and that I was to expect a confirmation for the phone screen shortly.
Ghosted. I suspect it's because I didn't attend their 24 hour coding event.
