Steps
1. digital video screening 2. coding assessment 3. live coding interview 4. onsite whiteboarding and behavioral interview
The ATS rejected my application, digital interview, my contact had HR put me through anyway. I aced the coding assessment, live coding, and my interviewers said I had the whiteboard questions "99% right". The last manager talked a bunch of how I might fit in onboarding, yet at the end HR said no offer. Not only that, they wouldn't reschedule when I was sick, and I spent over a grand out of pocket to travel there because they wouldn't accept video conferencing despite that being the initial "interview" medium.
I received a generic one-line rejection email. The least they can do is comp my expenses like every other company. How are you going to put out a coding assessment, have someone ace it, and then try every tactic to block me from opportunity, which based on what I saw, I could easily do the work.
