Round 1: So, this was a coding test. There were two coding questions, one of which was "break the palindrome". Both the questions were of easy to medium difficulty level. Round 2: Round 2 was a pre-recorded video interview. There were two questions to attempt. This round is to know more about a candidate apart from his technical knowledge. The questions for me were: 1) A situation where you didn't communicate and had to repeat the work. 2) What goals have you established for your career? Round 3: CFG(Code for Good) This is the best round where you are judged on various aspects like innovation, team spirit , leadership , curiosity to learn and many more. For the 2020-21 batch , 41 students were selected for CFG from our college and I was one among them. It was a 4 days event , where day one and day two were dedicated for workshops , team allocation, hackathon survival guidance , mentor allocation and all. There were 6 people in each team all from different colleges , a total 240 participants from all over India, two mentors were allocated to each team. Last two days were a 36 hours hackathon where different NGOs presented their problems and what they wanted from us. Immediately after the NGOs presentation , every team had to give their preferences of problem statements they wished to address through google form. (NOTE: allocation of problem statements was on a first come first serve basis. so , be quick while deciding the preferences.) And then there was brainstorming with mentors wherein mentors understand your level of understanding the problem stmt and your approach to address it. There was technical judging , one to one interaction/interview with both the mentors and live judging at the end.
