Rounds: 1. Hackerrank Coding Assessment 2. 2x 45min Zoom Interviews (first behavioural, second technical - Data Structures and Algorithms and a few questions on databases) Pros: - Enjoyable coding assessment (1st stage) - Nice working environment and opportunities for extracurriculars, learning and others - Had a clear explanation of the structure of the Behavioural Interview Cons: - When I moved to the final round I got a generic email (not from a recruiter) to schedule the round with no explanation of how the process will look like - Joined the Zoom link and was moved to a "candidates room" with other candidates without knowing if we're gonna do the interview as a group or getting any proper information. After 15 minutes of waiting, a recruiter joined and told us that we'd get moved to individual rooms (5 more minutes of waiting after that) - The behavioural interview was with a guy who wasn't very empathetic, a bit indifferent not keeping the morale up and not too accommodating of mental health - The guy from the technical interview was more energetic however, had very strong views. Started off by asking about my projects, I explained a few I worked on and what technologies we've used and he started showing very strong disapproval of choosing a certain technology and was very angry about my choice (although the fact we chose a technology for a project shouldn't be a decision for the interview). Then, when we moved to the interview questions he started laughing at them (I think he thought they were easy), being quite unprofessional. Then he moved on to the coding question, didn't tell me what was expected from me (a fully working solution that would complie, the way I'm thinking, or other) and also didn't even ask the question properly with all its details (I wasn't even sure if I can ask questions but I insisted with my questions to make sure I understand what I need to do), very unprofessional, bad at communicating, showing strong emotions and reactions all throughout the interview which exacerbated my anxiety. - Received my update as a generic no-reply email again without being able to ask for individual feedback or send feedback to recruitment.
