Worst candidate experience I have ever had. The process consisted of 1 phone screen, several video interviews and a panel interview in-person, started June 1 and continued until September 15th when I got an automated rejection email. I had a phone screen and then it took several days to get to the actual interview with leadership via video call at which time 5 minutes prior to the call I realized the recruiter didn't send me a link that worked for the actual call and I had to phone her to get a working link. Call went well and I was told I would be brought in for a panel interview. It took several follow up emails and phone calls to get the interview set with the panel. I was given no instructions on where to go in the hospital for the interview just a generic address and had to ask another office what floor I should be on. Once in the interview room I met with a panel of 4 lovely individuals who asked pretty generic questions and started to get calls from the talent consultant telling me she was going to meet me in the lobby for the interview I was already 1/2 way through. Following the panel I met with the interim HR person, also lovely. I was even told that one of the interviewers thought I was overqualified for the engagement position I was applying for. I walked out feeling really great as I was told they would be in touch soon. The next day I got an email asking me if I would also be interested in another position within the company. My answer was yes of course and then I was ghosted for several weeks again. Finally I got an email response asking me to meet virtually with another HR lead. Great call, was told we were moving to the next step. Then ghosted again for a couple of weeks. I went to a job fair and met someone from the talent group who not only chased me down at the event but apologized for everything said yes they were still interested in me and wanted to continue the process. A call was set for the following day with the original talent consultant who said they were still in the process and asked me to send her the next two weeks worth of availability, which I did. Then 100% ghosted again for 4 weeks. Ultimately I withdrew from the process by writing an email to the individual I interviewed with letting them know what a horrible experience the process is for their candidates and that I would for sure be writing a review. The amount of times I had to chase and follow up was ridiculous and It should have been a red flag that I did not want to work for a company so terrible to people that they would drag them along for months only to ghost them at the end and send a rejection via automation another 2 weeks later. Horrific and honestly the talent group needs to be retrained or replaced and the leads should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it to happen. They were unorganized, no follow through and immature in response or lack thereof.
