Panel interview with 3 people (Director, Department Manager, Lead Analyst) for Data Analyst I position. Very conversational and laid-back atmosphere - felt more like getting to know each other than being grilled. They focused heavily on personality fit and learning ability rather than technical expertise. Asked about my data experience, Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel), and background. No technical/math questions despite the analytical nature of the role. They spent significant time explaining company culture, history, benefits, and training opportunities. Asked standard behavioral questions about teamwork, communication skills, and career goals. Overall felt like they were evaluating whether I'd fit the team culture and could be trained up.
