Although I saw recruiters for this company at a job fair at my university, I only got traction after I applied for an open analyst position that a friend recommended. About two weeks after applying I got an email. After that, there were about three separate phone calls, some of which were phone screenings. Finally they asked me to come to Las Vegas for an interview. This was before the pandemic, and I have no idea how they do this now. They offered to pay for the airfare, lodging, and car rental. The interview itself was first thing in the morning (a hint of things to come: this is an extremely morning-oriented work culture) and although there were about five managers present, considering me for different but similar roles, they said a few things to put me at ease. I felt good about the interview so I spent the rest of the day driving through different neighborhoods to get a feel. This proved to be helpful, but unnecessary because they offered to reimburse me for a house-hunting trip after I got the offer. The offer came about 10 days after the interview, and there was a further 10 days of negotiation after that.
