I had applied online through glassdoor. The recruiter (or HR) called me within few days after, asking me what I was looking for in the job and etc. I told her, I was looking for a more technical position, and she asked for me to revise my resume so it would be a better match.
I revised my resume, sent it in, and about a week later, they asked me to do a phone interview with couple of the engineers. They asked me situational questions, 'what would you do in...' 'have you ever been in a situation...' type questions. The phone interview went for about 30 min, nothing out of the ordinary.
Few days later, they asked for me to send in a sample code, which I did, but they also sent me a small example to code up and send back. Since I had a full-time job, I told them I would send it back few days later when I had some time after work, which I did.
About another week later, they set me up on a phone interview with the VP of Engineering. However, another week went by before I heard from them again. Gotta say, the promptness of reply was lacking. Finally, they told me they would make a decision by the following Tuesday, but I never hard back from them again, and now it's been about 6 days. I left voicemails, sent emails, but no one seemed to respond back, which seems unprofessional after going through almost a month back-n-forth communication.
