I applied in May 2018 and interviewed in June 2018. It was a panel interview with three women. They emailed me the questions beforehand and I pretty much studied my well-thought out answers. There was a surprise math question at the end. They called me back in July 2018 and asked me if I was still interested in the position. I told them that I was and they scheduled a 'second interview' over the phone to discuss the job responsibilities to 'make sure I knew it'. It was odd to me because if I didn't know the job responsibilities, then I don't think I would have applied to the position. After this discussion and asking me some of the same questions that they asked during my initial interview, they told me they would think it over and consider contacting my references. Two days later, I was told that they will not move forward with contacting my references and they will continue to interview for the position. I'm not too sure why I was not selected because I nailed my interview, had sufficient experience, and was very capable of performing the job duties. All in all, this was a waste of time and got my hopes up for nothing.
