Interview
We had a call with an employee that worked at Jane Street and they asked me the interview question. You worked through the problem and the interviewer was there to guide you if possible. Afterwards the interviewer answered some questions about Jane Street.

Question 1
You have 10 chips and you want to split them into an arbitrary number of pots. You then take the product of the number of chips in the pots and maximize the product. Do this for 10, 20, and 100 chips.

Interview
The interview went well and easily, but I was nervous, so I answered quickly and made small mistakes. They gave me a chance to correct myself. However, the interview ended quickly, and it seems that I am not a good fit for them.

Question 1
A car is driving on the road and sees signs along the way. These signs prohibit parking before or after the sign. What is the probability of finding a parking spot?
Very enjoyable, problems mostly focused on probability, game theory, market making games. Got rejected third round on a difficult game theory question, speed and clarity of thought is key in these interviews.
Phone Interview followed by a whole day interview.
Receive the first phone interview two weeks after the application, then the second one right after the first phone interview but get rejected afterwards
