Jane Street Trading Desk Operations interview questions

Recruiter notify interview and send problems about data and accounting in several excel files. After finished and sent it back, there was a phone interview next week. And I received the rejection 2 days later.

Contacted by a staffing firm. First round is an excel take home assessment to calculate haircuts. This assessment does not require VBA, just basic excel skills, but the instructions are very tedious and I did not really know what they want. After the excel assessment will be a phone interview, another round of assessment and a super day.
