Interview
I interviewed four separate times including a take-home assignment using anonymized client data for analysis. Each conversation carried a variation on a shared theme but overall I had a great time with each interviewer and their passion for the company really came through. They recognize that their interview process is cumbersome but they really place a lot of importance in company culture and want to ensure a great culture fit all around.

Interview
Only had the HR screening call. Kind of frustrating not even making it past the first call, without knowing why. Especially when my background is very aligned with the role and the call went great IMO.
Very nice conversation. Started out super casual. HR recruiter immediately switched it over to me, asking where to start, whether learning about the company or diving into my experience. This was a breath of fresh air, not your typical process to start. Casually chatted for the first 5-10 minutes, then they started reading out a list of pre-selected questions (placed below).
Pretty quick turnover regarding the rejection email. It was sent out the day after. I guess that's a plus, they don't waste time or keep you guessing.
Company is a small, close-knit company. They are very, very focused on the people and who gets to join their family. CEO has even said that he interviews every candidate at the end of the process to pretty much "make sure we're hiring the right kinds of people. Not the best people, but the right people".
I guess that's why I didn't pass initial round, not the 'right kind of person'.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Jane Technologies in Jan 2023
Interview
All up took just under a month. Several rounds with individual employees. The conversations were at times repetitive which is to be expected but they all felt like more of a conversation than an interview. I enjoyed each round and getting different perspectives, everyone was very open and welcoming.
