Terrible experience applying at JetBrains. I applied for the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist role; the job ad stated they want you to write a cover letter and answer specific questions, like your challenges with hiring managers and how you tackle them, your motivation for the field, etc. After all the effort of applying, they don’t even have the decency to send a simple rejection email. It’s basically just moving a candidate from one stage to another so they receive an automated email. If you can’t do something that simple, I actually don’t know what you’re doing. At the very least, don't ask people to take the time to write a cover letter and answer questions before even landing an interview when you can't manage a simple status update.
