I got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn regarding a job opportunity at the HR Department at JetBrains GmbH in Munich. The job announcement itself was never published on the Company's website or any career websites. I had 3 interviews, and all interviews were held in Russian language only. In spite that the company was hiring in Germany nobody checked my English and German knowledge. 1st interview: a standard candidate screening with an HR assistant from Russia. 2nd interview: "job specific interview" with the HR assistant and the HR Director (Germany). The interview had online format and the questions were easy. 3rd interview: onsite interview with the HR Director (Germany), HR VP from Russia and HR specialist. I got a job offer, which I declined. Afterwards I got a new job offer.
