I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at JobGet in Oct 2022
Interview
They reached out to me on LinkedIn. Recruiter was great and good convo. The interview with the person running the sales team was odd though. He couldn’t answer basic questions about the direction or future of the company even though they just secured a recent round of funding. Said too early to tell. Also, mentioned a few times that he tries to talk candidates out of the job on the first round so he emphasized how they don’t have any marketing or SDR support for the sales team. Well, it worked! No thanks.

Question 1
The only thing he really asked about was what is was like working for the competitor and was asking about the CEO by name. Red flag!
There was no virtual interview, only a writing test. They make you write a 500 word article on whatever topic you want. They pay you for your test article. I'm not sure if this has changed.

Interview
Any company that makes you build an a time consuming application for an interview process is a red flag. In an industry that candidates have much more leverage, their interview process is toxic. Instead of a 1-2 hour coding interview, you’ll be building an application that will take you 40-50 hours.
Choose where you interview wisely.

Question 1
Build an application with persistent data, ui features, and unit tests. Bill them if you really want the position. Not worth effort for the salary.
