Ghosted. I was referred by a current employee. Went to a cool recruiting/community event. Got a cool office tour. Typical recruiter screen and laid-back second interview with the hiring manager. HM indicated they intended to recommend for a panel interview. Then full ghost from everyone.
Early on they mentioned some pending decisions that might delay the process; that’s fine. I emailed a week after our conversation to check in on ballpark timeline—no response from recruiter or HM. I called the recruiter another week later—no response.
They just posted the position again today on LI. I never received a rejection in any form.
