They were to take 4 interviews if I were to make it to last one. I could only make to 2nd one. But I have to admit, I have a long professional history with wonderful employers including U of A, EPL, which I still really appreciate them. But the interview with Jobber was the best interview experience ever. I was made feel very relaxed and comfortable right from the first email till the 2nd phone interview. Even though I am not hired, I am still thankful of having experienced the interview. Thank you Jobbers team. I am not sure if I should mention names online, so I won't mention individual names, as general Jobbers Talent Acquisition team is great.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jobber in Nov 2023
Interview
Step one is with a recruiter, they email you in advance to ensure you have all the info you need to be prepared. They asked some situational questions about dealing with tough calls, and how I approach feedback and coaching. The rest was housekeeping questions. Training would be 1 month. You get a salaried rate for a year, with a set schedule. They express importance of being able to pivot, and anticipate change in this role.
Second step was zoom chat with 2 managers. It was quite easy going and I felt I could be myself, but the questions were impactful. Asking about how I dealt with tough feedback, asking about some process changes I did at a previous job. They wanted to know how I handle stress, what kind of impacting mistake I had made in the past, also wanted to know how I approached something that didn't go my way. I felt the interviews went very well, and I really enjoyed talking to everyone, but the position recruitment was either closed or completed before I had the opportunity to advance. I'll continue trying to apply here as the culture seemed very promising.
