It took about a month from applying to get a response. The hiring lead got busy so they did not get to applications in the time they had hoped. There was a screen with a recruiter. After that an interview with 2 managers, although one had to cancel last minute due to an emergency. I did not make it to the next stages, but they were to be an interview with the team's executive leader and a presentation to the manager and a team member.
It was a fine process, although the meeting with an executive for an individual contributor role does feel a little micromanage-y. There was no constructive feedback offered - just that "While we understand this is likely not the answer you are hoping to receive, we don’t want to give the impression that changing any one thing about yourself would change the outcome here, as we evaluate candidates based on a number of different factors." This was a way to deflect and not give any constructive feedback whatsoever. I feel that Jobber could be more brave and offer something for candidates to take away.
