I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jobber (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2019
Interview
I interviewed for Jobber for a UX/UI Designer position. Although I did not get the job I have to say that you can tell the company really cares for their present and future employees. I experienced wonderful and polite treatment.
The interview consisted of a 30 minute phone interview. Average interview questions where asked, such as tell us about yourself, talk about a project you worked on, etc. The communication before and after the interview was superb.
As I said I did not get the job but I received a very nice message letting me know, with personal pointers about the interview which I really appreciate. It is not uncommon nowadays to be ghosted by a prospective employer. I love to see how there are companies like Jobber that understand of the importance of empathic behavior.
For those interested, I understand that the following steps after the phone interview with a recruiter (which is what I did) are another phone interview with one of the team leads, followed by a 1-on-1 interview with some team members, and at last the presentation of something you are given. So a total of 4 steps between phone and in person interviews.
