This was a very invasive interview, and it got to the point where I almost ended it early. Lots of questions about how much I "w2'd" and when I asked why, she said, "it helps us determine how much you're making now in case we move forward with an offer." It's illegal to ask how much someone is making, let alone to be sleezy about it and try a work around. Ultimately, I didn't answer that question. THEN, they asked me if I'd rather bring my current book of business with me, or if I'd rather rebuild. I told them no matter where I go, I won't be bringing my book with me as 1) that's wrong, and 2) I signed a non compete agreement. She responded with, "oh, legal knows how to get around that, no problem." THEN, they laid into my current company as if they worked there (they did not), which kind of sucked. Aside from asking about my current pay, GP, and positions, they asked NOTHING about me. Only talked about how much better Jobot is. It also concerns me that they only asked about numbers. Makes very clear that they only care about making you a cash cow, DESPITE them claiming they are there for their people. Then they went into the salary. Oh boy. They claim to offer over $100k for all positions, and there are all of these gift baskets, trips, and benefits. The CEO of this company is positioning it to sell, and it's very clear based on the way they are conducting their interviews. Over all, I could have easily signed on and gotten taken advantage of if I didn't know any better. So I'm warning you to PLEASE do not interview at this company. They are terrible and set up to fail. I got an offer because of my impressive numbers, and I turned them down on the spot.
