Interview was during the height of the pandemic, and I had hoped for a ZOOM interview, at least initially, but that was not allowed. HR was well-organized and the day of interviews with a succession of stakeholders was straightforward. I met with all of the various stakeholders one at a time, and with one exception they were professional and cordial. The exception was one stakeholder who plainly did not hold with pandemic protocols, wore a mask that did not cover his nose, and pressured me to shake his hand rather than accept my offered elbow bump. He then criticized me for my reluctance to shake hands in the middle of a pandemic.
