I applied online. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Houston, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
Started with a phone call/interview, then a zoom call with the hiring manager, then an in-person interview where you had to do a presentation on HVAC refrigeration cycles. Overall, it was a good experience. I made it to the final interview but did not receive an offer.
I had a few phone interviews with a corporate hiring manager, and then 2 in person interviews with the local branch manager. All the interviews were very relaxed, not super technical.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (Irving, TX)
Interview
The interveiw process was extremely simple; they just want to see how you interact with team members and if you fit into the culture. For my first interview, they took me out to lunch.
