Two weeks later phone interview with another manager, who called me 45 minutes late. Jornaya was looking for someone with experience selling into large financial services companies, which I possess. However, Jornaya has no customers in this vertical besides a third tier insurance company. Jornaya is somewhat delusional thinking they are ready to win deals with large financial services companies. I was considering withdrawing my candidacy, as I did not believe in the product, the people, or the process, when I received a form email saying they were going in a different direction. Just as well. Although Jornaya has recently changed names and received a capital infusion, it appears they are just the same company that is stalled in their "growth" stage.
