      QA Automation Engineer Interview

      Feb 9, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Conshohocken, PA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Jornaya (Conshohocken, PA) in Dec 2017

      Interview

Starting when I walked in the door, everyone I encountered took the time to say "Hello and welcome", making me feel at ease from the very beginning of the process. I met separately with two tech team members, then the hiring manager and one of the product owners, and finally the CTO (it's a small company). The interview itself focused more on experience and accomplishments than actual tools, languages, and those questions that you later wonder why they are asking. From my perspective, I felt they really know what they are looking for and value in a prospective employee.
