I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jump Trading
Interview
Unprofessional to request an interview, then take a long time to arrange, swapping and changing details at the last minute. Convoluted process with unnecessary duplication of interviews, interviewers contradicting each other, repetitive and irrelevant questions, inconsistent description of role / requirements, cagey re the company with lack of openness and transparency, element of arrogance and seeming lack of ability to see that any company cannot possibly be fantastic in every single way. Could also work on building rapport and sharing a little info to start a conversation, rather than launching into a grilling.
HR need to get organised and training in interview skills. Also a lesson on putting yourself in the candidates shoes, and also some training on how HR impact the orgs brand.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What percentage of a role you did 4 years ago was XYZ.. strange questions rather than focussing on more recent and relevant experience, or asking for a good example to demonstrate knowledge which meet the requirements, or asking why you think you're a match for key criteria
