I applied for this position through their site. I was contacted by HR and I was set up for an interview with hiring manager. He was nice. Mainly talked about position and skills required for the job. After that I was set up for 4 technical rounds with different engineers. They seemed to be very knowledgeable. And they just want to gauge your knowledge. Main focus on routing protocol and MPLS.
After Technical rounds, I never heard from HR. After following up with them,I was informed they were still conducting interviews and they would update me once they make decision. Its been almost 6 weeks now. I have not heard from them. When you go through 5 rounds of interviews, they should have atleast some courtesy to let you know that you were not selected. I would think Juniper being such a big company would have some standardized process.
a lot of technical deep dive for routing protocols, and usually 3-4 rounds of interview from team members and manager, not a easy process overall. and not easy to get an offer.

Interview
This role was for Juniper TAC. I gave total of 6 rounds of hours long interviews and spent my whole weeks behind the process in a hope that it will be worth spending my time on. In the end they said that even thought I got a positive feedback from the interviewers but they won't consider me as they had found another candidate. Now my question is that they could've stopped my interviews right there in the beginning if they had their option. Don't simply waste a candidate's time and energy!
