Called by a contract recruiter and then she later arranged an on-site interview (this was pre-pandemic). I met three team members very informally. It did not seem very well thought through and the line of questioning was more like random bar banter with a stranger. I think they look for someone who will be friendly and fit in with the team, not necessarily professional skills.
It wasn’t a painful interview, but I’m glad I didn’t end up accepting their offer because I can’t imagine they attract top talent with such a relaxed recruiting process.
So, if you need a pay check, Juniper Networks might be a good fit for you. If you are looking to grow professionally, it might not be the right place for you.
