I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Juniper Networks (Sunnyvale, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
I was contacted in the early morning and asked to come in for an interview (personal lead). I interviewed the next day with an executive and he told staffing to get me into the company at all costs. He told them he didn't want to see anyone else, saying I was a perfect fit. I was given an offer within three days and just had to wait for my background check before I gave my notice.

Question 1
Because I was personally referred, it was more of a "getting to know you" interview. I'd already done this type of work for decades and could do it blind-folded. It's usually a matter of chemistry/fit with your executive.
