      Math Teacher Interview

      Oct 11, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at K12 in Jul 2012

      Interview

Helped administer the state test and met some of the employees during the process. After testing week all non-employees were told to submit their resume to the site coordinator if they were interested in employment. Sent my resume to site coordinator and then applied online. Recieved a call from a scheduling adgency and had One Phone Interview with Academic Advisor and Lead Teacher. Received an offer about two weeks later.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

No unexpected or difficult questions. Typical questions such as "where do see yourself in 5 years." Or, "tell about a lesson you taught successfully and describe how you would translate it virtually."

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at K12 (Seattle, WA) in May 2017

      Interview

I did an online interview via HireView. The interview process is fairly simple, but looking at yourself while interviewing is intimidating. They did not respond one way or another. I think an email of some sort to no thank you would be appropriate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Q: Tell us about a lesson that did not go well, and how you know it wasn't successful.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at K12 (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2017

      Interview

Virtual interview where you tape yourself answering their questions. Second step is preparing a lesson and presenting it on their platform. Platform was a bit confusing to make sure sound was working.

      Question 1

Describe a time when a student was not keeping up, what did you do to help?
