KAYAK Senior Data Engineer interview questions

The good thing is they are quick with replies. Got an email for the next steps a day after I applied. The first screening round was a take-home assignment consisting 5 problems to solve out of which 2 were optional and was to be submitted within a week. I took out my precious time to solve 4 out 5 in 2 days. I got a response with an invitation to the next round. I was asked questions about my previous projects, what tech stack I use, some behavioral with an HR and a manager. I felt the manager was very uninterested (or tired?) during the interview and I sort of lost interest during the whole process. I was invited to the second round which was supposed to be a technical interview and since I have a job and also had other interview lined up, I chose a date that was about 1.5 weeks after the first round. After a few weeks I received a response saying that recruitment for this position has been paused. Please respect the time and effort people put in for the interviews.
