Question 1
what is you salary expectation; what are your motivation to apply this position.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at KBI Biopharma (Durham, NC) in Jul 2020
Interview
Interview process 5+ weeks. Started with a phone call to HR, two weeks later a phone interview with hiring manager and then an all-day interview with 30 minute back to back sessions with different team members. Honestly, I still haven’t heard back and I’m not expecting to.
My interview process ranks up there with some of the worst interview experiences I’ve had in my entire life because after taking ~8 hours away from my current position, the HR and hiring manager didn’t even have the decency to send me an email telling me I had been rejected. Ghosting is not only a serious problem at KBI, but across the board. Not only is ghosting unprofessional, but it hurts a company’s reputation. 42% of job seekers have said that they would not work for a company that had ghosted them or even reconsider reapplying. While I am only speaking from my experience, I’d say there is some value in the Glassdoor reviews posted by current employees because it characterizes my experience with this company.
A piece of advice for HR if they read these posts is to contact everyone that you interview because if you valued someone enough to bring them in for an on-site interview chances are they could be a good fit for your company in a couple of years, and now, they won’t reapply at all.
Additionally, be respectful to interviewees, they spend time preparing and take time off from their current position so it would be nice to have the decency to respond.
