I applied for the “Data Science Analyst – Sustainability & Marketing” role via the company website and was invited to schedule an initial Zoom interview. Unfortunately, the recruiter did not attend four scheduled meetings. I joined each Zoom on time and waited, but no one appeared. After the first two missed interviews I received apologies and attempts to reschedule; after the later no-shows there was no meaningful communication. On one occasion, the calendar invitation was changed about 15 minutes before the meeting. I still attended at the updated time, and the recruiter did not join. A few days later I received an automated rejection email stating they could not proceed due to a competitive candidate pool, even though the initial conversation never happened. I’m sharing this to set expectations: the scheduling/communication was not handled professionally, and it resulted in a significant time cost and a disappointing candidate experience.
